LABEL

a. Pengertian Label

Label adalah keterangan detail dari sebuah produk yang tertulis di luar kemasan, Dengan tujuan memberikan informasi baik cara menggunakan ataupun komposisi dari sebuah produk. 

Dengan adanya label, konsumen atau kita yang akan menggunakan produk tersebut lebih jelas mengenai bahan ataupun cara menggunakannya.

b. Tujuan Label Produk  

Adapun tujuannya sebagai berikut:
  1. Memberi informasi rinci tentang isi produk yang diberi label tanpa harus membuka kemasan.
  2. Sebagai sarana komunikasi produsen kepada konsumen tentang hal-hal yang perlu diketahui oleh konsumen tentang produk tersebut, terutama hal-hal yang kasat mata atau tak diketahui secara fisik.
  3. Memberi petunjuk yang tepat pada konsumen hingga diperoleh fungsi produk yang optimum.
  4. Sarana periklanan bagi produsen.
  5. Memberi ‘rasa aman’ bagi konsumen.

Tujuan dari kedua teks label diatas adalah to give detailed information about Nutrition Facts (memberikan informasi rinci tentang Informasi gizi).

Ada tujuh jenis yang perlu diperhatikan pada label produk.
Laber pada produk harus diperhatikan oleh konsumen ketika membeli suatu produk atau barang. Salah satu tujuannya untuk menghindari batas kadarluarsanya, dll. Selamat membaca!

Berikut ini ada tujuh jenis yang perlu diperhatikan pada label produk yaitu:
  1. Nama dan merk produk,
  2. Deskripsi tentang produk,
  3. Isi,
  4. Penggunaan obat (use) dan komposisi ingredients) makanan /minuman,
  5. Cara pemakaian, penggunaan, memasak, menyajikan (direction to use, cook, serve),
  6. Cara menyimpan (direction to store), dan
  7. Tanggal kadaluwarsa (expiration date/ best before).
